𝐈ℵveterate𝐌endaciousness𖤐 Definitely some of the most crushingly heavy tracks I’ve heard from a metal release recently. It seems as though 2018 & onward has yielded a steady flow of exceptional avant-garde black&death metal (honestly some of the best metal in the history of the genre at this time for that matter), and this split absolutely contributes to that congregation of exemplary talent in recent memory; my jaw was open for NUMEROUS segments of both bands sets here. Absolutely mired in fucking pulverizing riffage. Favorite track: Veins of Satiation.

tr_🇺🇦 I prefer Abyssal's contribution (naturally) because it's gritty, heavy, atmospheric and just interesting death doom. Carcinoma has a much flashier production, screamed vocals and a technical sound with lots of changes in tempo. You cannot go wrong here. Unless you hate nice things. Favorite track: Enantiodromia.

Grimmrobe The undertow will drag you into the deepest fucking depths.

Welcome to Abyssal. Favorite track: Chaos Anthropomorphism.

Mark Lindhout A marriage of two wonderful entities. I could not have hoped for a better unity. After their Glasgow gig, Abyssal have gained my respect anew. Any band they work with comes recommended.

Here, as in eternity: Maximum volume yields maximum results.
Dave Aftandilian

Dave Aftandilian Blackness piles upon us, layer on layer, suffocating. We claw and scream for release, but no one listens. Crushed, we bleed despair in rhythm to the pumping of our blood out onto the dirt. Slowly our shadows crawl from beneath us, put their filthy fingers to our throats, and squeeze.... Favorite track: Sinews Weave Vicissitudes.
